About the Team
The Marketing Team’s primary responsibilities are to communicate the value of the Subsplash platform to the world—managing all outward-facing communications, leading demand generation efforts, creating go-to-market product strategies, facilitating brand management/identity, and more. We create beautiful and effective email campaigns, social media strategies, website content, product identities, videos, and more. We identify prospects and nurture them into quality leads for our sales team. For existing clients, we help them understand and engage with our products and new features. We have fun moving projects from concept to reality, and discovering what works well to help Subsplash and our clients succeed.
About the Role
As a Junior Marketing Graphic Designer (Temp) at Subsplash, you will report to the Sr. Director of Marketing. You will also work closely with the other members of the Marketing Team. You will play an important role on the team to support the production of internal design projects. You are skilled in typography, visual layouts, presenting concepts, designing within brand guidelines, receiving feedback, and translating feedback into improved final projects. As the Junior Marketing Graphic Designer, you are highly detailed and organized, and you are efficient at producing on-brand design materials. You will be responsible for designing marketing collateral, website assets, email and blog imagery, advertising, promotional materials, social images, and more. You will use your creativity to work with the Sr. Creative Director and the rest of the marketing team to maintain a strong visual brand across the company. Please note that this is a temporary position lasting for 6 months.
Your Priorities
- Work collaboratively with the other members of the marketing team to successfully represent our brand and products across a wide variety of communications channels
- Create beautiful, on-brand email designs for marketing promotions and operational communications
- Create on-brand assets for the marketing website(s)
- Create designs for advertisements that strategically showcase our products and brand in compelling ways
- Create and provide cross-departmental design support for other teams within the organization
- Utilize your design and organizational layout skills to create on-brand, engaging social media images
- Create on-brand visuals for blog posts and other marketing materials
- Collaborate with the other designers on the team to support marketing product launches
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field
- 1–2 years experience with graphic and digital design, email marketing, social media, etc.
- The ability to adhere to established brand guidelines
- Strong visual and design skills
- Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop on Mac OS
- Proficient in software programs such as Figma and/or Sketch
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to positively interact, collaborate, and innovate with other team members
- High level of creative and problem-solving skills
- Portfolio that demonstrates quality visual and graphic design techniques, including a sense of branding, typography, and layout across digital platforms
- Exceptional attention to detail, confident problem-solving skills and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Ability to execute projects under tight deadlines and work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to clearly present design ideas and concepts for campaigns and projects.
Bonus Qualifications
- Familiarity with HTML a plus
- Experience working with a Marketing Team is a plus

Compensation
The compensation for this role will be $25/hr.
Location
Subsplash currently has operations in 24 states across the US! As much as we would love to have employees in as many states and countries as we have clients, we are currently limiting hiring to the states we already operate in. As a result of that, this role is only available as a 100% remote position if you reside in one of the following states:
AL, AR, AZ, CO, FL, GA, ID, IA, KS, MO, MI, NC, NM, OK, OH, OR, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WY.

This position is classified as Full-time/non-exempt and therefore eligible for overtime pay. Core office hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm Mon-Fri. Note: Employment with Subsplash is contingent upon satisfactory proof of employee’s right to work in the U.S., as required by law and upon completion of a basic background check and; Employment with Subsplash is considered “at will,” meaning that either the company or the employee may terminate the employment relationship at any time without cause or notice.
