In your day to day activities, you’ll work with multiple customers, as a consultant and trusted partner in Sandalwood’s areas of expertise of Injury Prevention, Systems Engineering & Systems Integration. You’ll help customers innovate, solve their current struggles and guide them with the power of Sandalwood’s deeply ingrained subject matter expertise.

Tasks assigned / Work priorities:

  • Support different teams in the evaluation of existing /future workstations
  • Evaluate Workstations/Operations based on Ergonomic Risks Assessments
  • Recommend corrective actions, and lead teams to completion as needed
  • Meet Program Deliverables on time and schedule
  • Provide regular (daily, weekly, etc.) Tracking Status to the designated Team Leader
  • Attend designated meetings to provide status reports
  • Capture and register for all tryouts, runoffs and quality impacts for the project implementations and engineering updates/upgrades.
  • Manage within master timing charts, with corrective actions and recovery plans identified where needed.
  • Support and follow up of open issues
  • Design of new workstations
  • Creation and edition of operator instructions sheets
  • Evaluate workstations based on safety risk
  • Evaluate workstations based on quality requirements.
  • Creation and edition of time study workstations to meet the workload
  • Edition of process sheets for the process (Elements, parts, tools, variations codes)
  • Allocation of process sheets through workstations / operations.
  • Accomplish the department objectives addressed by the client using problem solving technique.

Requirements

Skills / Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or Industrial Engineer
  • MODAPTS knowledge, using as a basic tool to meet daily activities
  • Experience applying industrial ergonomics
  • Experience in the manufacturing environment
  • Organizational and planning skills
  • Strong communication skills to interact with different level of members within the organization
  • Teamwork, proactive, with sense of urgency & customer service attitude to drive customer satisfaction (internal & external)
  • Working under pressure and time availability
  • Strong Negotiation skills to drive timing targets
  • The ability to report project status accurately and in timely fashion to manager level management

Professional Experience / required knowledge:

  • + 1 Years’ Experience with Industrial Engineering roles
  • Experience in Automotive industry company as a preference
  • Fluent written and spoken technical English

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or Industrial Engineer
