A Day In The Life…
Reporting to the Marketing Data Product Owner and the Head of Data you’ll join a growing team of highly talented analysts in which you will be responsible for driving all aspects of PetLab’s Marketing Analytics. You’ll embed yourself into the marketing/growth/media-buying teams to collaborate and drive optimisations.

Your day-to-day will look a little bit like this…

  • Develop tactics and metrics to assess the effectiveness of existing marketing, advertising and communications programs.
  • Convert complex data findings into understandable outputs using a variety of different methods.
  • Monitor and forecast marketing performance trends highlighting opportunities for new initiatives and promotions.
  • Support the development and implementation of a measurement plan for our marketing activities, working towards a robust and complete view of our return on marketing spend.
  • Work with the Growth, Marketing, and Engineering teams to define data products required to generate and communicate insight.

Requirements

What You Need…

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.
  • Experience in a B2C business
  • Strong experience in SQL (there will be a SQL tet) and experience with programming languages like Python or R.
  • Experience in at least one data visualisation platform (We use Power BI)
  • Strong understanding of the data held within social media platform APIs and how that could be used to drive a business forward.
  • Understanding of statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex data in a clear and concise manner.
