The opportunity

We're seeking a dynamic sales executive to lead our self-service business segment. As one of the founding Product-Led Growth (PLG) sales hires, you’ll be responsible for experiments that drive growth for our company as we go from product-market fit to go-to-market fit. Here, you'll have the chance to experiment with growth channels, foster community engagement, and discover creative methods to connect with our target customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLG sales and a deep understanding of the developer tooling landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a player/coach, actively participating in sales efforts while providing mentorship and guidance to team members.
  • Foster close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and customer success, to optimize the self-service customer journey.
  • Drive continual enhancement in sales processes and methodologies to maximize efficiency and scalability.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to pinpoint growth opportunities and optimizations.
  • Manage and organize your pipeline and activities in Apollo and Salesforce

Skills

  • 5+ years of proven experience in Product-Led Growth (PLG) sales, selling a developer product to product and developers
  • Startup experience is highly preferred, showcasing a track record of propelling rapid growth within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong technical acumen and familiarity with developer tooling and infrastructure technologies.
  • Very comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy experimenting with new ideas
  • Experience in analyzing data to recognize patterns and pull out insights that help drive GTM decisions
  • Bonus points:
    • Prior experience in product management, growth, customer success, sales engineering, engineering, or technical support roles
    • Bachelor's degree or coursework in Engineering, Computer Science or a comparable field, have completed a Developer bootcamp, or have some equivalent technical experience

Benefits

Compensation for this role depends on level, but we provide a competitive mix of salary and equity.

We provide a 401(k) with a 100% match up to 3% of your salary and a 50% match up to another 2%.

We provide healthcare, dental, and vision with premiums fully covered on the base plan for employees. Half of premiums are covered for dependents.

We offer unlimited PTO and a culture in which the overwhelming majority of employees take more than four weeks. Your manager is also on the hook for encouraging you to do the same.
