Sr. Software Quality Engineer (Backend) - PI105

Job Description:
We are looking for a seasoned quality engineer to test our "fan base" mobile application and platform service for our flagship hardware. We need your skills, knowledge, and experiences to execute quality assurance project.

Responsibilities:

- Write backend test automation.

- Perform code coverage analysis.

• Work with security team or outside vendors to perform security testing against the service.
  - Perform test manually when needed.
  - Write and run test cases.
  - Gather test results and summarize in to the report.
  - Collaborate with other QA engineers, developers, project manager, product manager, XD/UX and other team members to execute projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of formal software testing experience.
  - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  - Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDL).
  - Ability to code on the technology stack like React, Node, and others are required.
  - Knowledge and testing skills on SQL based database.
  - Ability to write test automation with scripting language like Python.
  - Ability to perform code coverage analysis.
  - High level of communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to communicate in Japanese.

Nice to Haves:
- Experience and knowledge of Source Labs is definitely a plus, but not required.
- Experience and knowledge of AWS is definitely a plus, but not required.
- Knowledge and experience with Apple iOS and Google Android testing is also required, although not a primary focus.
- Security testing experience is definitely a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work with different time zones (Japan, India, US West Coast).
