Ieso is on a mission to change the future of mental healthcare, and we’re looking for an experienced data analyst to help us understand the behavior of our end users and customers, to help drive product innovation and iteration.
In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data interpretation, reporting and visualization in order to generate comprehensive insights that inform our understanding of the opportunities to improve our products, and test and evaluate potential solutions with users in A/B testing.
The role holder will bridge different sources of insight from attitudinal and behavioural data, that will include the analysis of conversational transcripts, app usage, and user experience interviews, to give a complete picture of product performance. You will collaborate with user researchers, data and AI scientists, and engineers to ensure we define and measure key product performance indicators, and reveal insights that enable us to learn about and improve our product performance.
This role will directly influence decision making and product direction.

Reporting to: Product Director
Responsibilities
- Develop an deep understanding of our products and how they work, and the different types of user and how they interact with our products
- Ongoing analysis of product data, including transcripts of conversational components of the products to reveal interaction patterns, and performance against key metrics
- Own the design and running of user A/B testing initiatives, and analysing and sharing the results
- Develop sustainable methods for continually monitoring key product metrics, parsing data to reveal trends and key opportunity areas
- Collaborate with our user research team to develop joined-up investigations into the ‘what and why’ of user behaviour, developing a holistic picture of our users, and verifying insights to drive product decisions
- Work closely with the product team to define the problem areas to be investigated, and hypothesis to test
- Proactively identify and communicate potential risks based on data analysis
General
- Build and develop relationships with stakeholders across the company
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of regular reports to stakeholders
- Translate complex data analysis into presentable insights that are relevant to the particular audience
Data Acquisition and Management
- Collect, clean (or champion quality of) data from various sources, including internal databases, user activity logs, and customer surveys
- Advocate for data quality control measures to improve data integrity (inaccuracies, inconsistencies etc.)
- Drive efficiency by automating manual reporting processes and continuously develop analytical methods to improve understanding of product usage
- Ensure the data accessed and analyzed is stored and processed in accordance with our privacy and quality system policies
Data Analysis and Insights
- Translate complex data sets into understandable and actionable visualizations and reports for various departments; bringing our data to life and engaging colleagues
- Analyze user behaviour and engagement metrics to understand product usage and pain points
- Identify opportunities for product improvements and feature development based on data-driven insights
- Develop and present comprehensive reports and dashboards to communicate key findings to stakeholders
