The Controller will serve DexCare supporting the Company's high growth objectives, goals, and strategies under the guidance of the CFO and in partnership with the Director of FP&A. This position will lead the accounting function, month-end close, audit, tax, and risk management and optimize related systems and processes.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee all aspects of the company's accounting operations, including but not limited to financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, tax and insurance
  • Lead the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant regulations
  • Coordinate and manage the annual audit process, including preparation of audit schedules, liaising with external auditors, and ensuring timely completion
  • Enact plans to automate financial systems and processes, including further, but not limited to, financial reporting, order to cash, tax compliance, and management reporting
  • Mentor and supervise a team of bookkeepers, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Drive the implementation of NetSuite ERP system, working closely with IT and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition
  • Develops long-term trusted relationships with internal business leaders and external partners, including auditors, tax consultants, and other financial advisors
  • Documents and explains the impact of position papers related to technical accounting/tax issues

What You’ll Bring

  • CPA required
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience
  • SaaS industry experience required
  • Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, U.S. Tax Compliance, and management reporting and analysis
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience highly desirable
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Proven leadership abilities with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
