The opportunity

We are looking for forward-thinking individuals with plenty of creativity to develop and lead our value propositions, opportunities, and client engagements, who are subject matter experts in either service management, service architecture and or business architecture. No engagement is the same, this role requires a desire to build trusted client relationships, understand their business problems, value streams, and create innovative solutions with a drive to improve customer outcomes.

In addition, you will contribute to and or own the production of deliverables. Deliverables include analysis of business strategy in support of IT, IT strategy recommendations, IT strategy plans and roadmaps, ITSM capability and process assessments, producing new process sets, service improvement plans, organization design reviews, new operating models, skills assessments, ITSM Tooling reviews and improvement plans, etc.

The candidates must be eligible to obtain a security clearance - SC level.

Location:

Home based; Digital Transformation Consulting supports UK wide clients; therefore, the candidate should expect to travel 2 days per week on average, with a balance to work from any Eviden site or from home where travel is not required.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Supporting sales proposals, BIDs and presenting client pitches
  • Developing value propositions and supporting collateral
  • Engagement management and line management activities
  • Lead and or support with Maturity Assessment, interviewing stakeholders to analyse current strategy, services, processes, and organisation structure to identify issues or pain-points and potential improvements
  • Collecting and analysing customer data to produce insights and reports
  • Preparing and leading workshops to play-back findings and explore solutions to specific issues
  • Preparing PPT slides to summarise key findings and recommendations
  • Desk research on competitors and best practice examples of digital strategy
  • Documenting roadmaps and/or transition states for any organisational changes required
  • Service Delivery supporting roles

Required skills and experience:

  • Successful candidates will have strong Service Design, IT operations and service management experience across the full ITIL lifecycle
  • Knowledge and understanding of IT operating models and concepts such as SIAM, DevOps, SAFe Agile and Cloud operating models
  • Confident working directly with a senior leadership team in a client advisory role
  • Consultative skills including the ability to ask open engaging questions at all levels, analyse information, test, or develop new hypothesis and research new or emerging trends and best practice
  • Advanced problem-solving skills are expected, with the ability to quickly understand the business issue and develop creative solutions
  • Capability to develop high quality well-presented client deliverables using PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Client facing workshop facilitation experience and strong presentation skills

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Would be great to see some previous consultancy experience in ITSM, Business or Digital consulting
  • Ability to demonstrate either Service or Business Architecture, IT Governance, Business Change and Programme Management experience
  • ITIL (MP, SL or Expert), LEAN, COBIT, TOGAF, CMMI certifications
