In today’s world of; “always on, always connected” ready access to data and information is critical for decision making. Aira Tech is looking for a skilled Data Analytics Manager to lead and grow our analytics team. The ideal candidate will excel in leveraging extensive datasets housed in our data lake, along with performing forecasting, scheduling, and optimizing business processes through sophisticated data analytics. This role requires a blend of analytical expertise, strategic thinking, and team leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the data analytics team, promoting a high-performance culture and fostering skill development.
  • Develop and execute data-driven strategies with a significant focus on utilizing the data lake for comprehensive analytics projects.
  • Oversee the management and maintenance of scheduling and forecasting systems/tools to ensure efficient staff and resource management while balancing cost, SLA & utilization.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand business & operational needs and integrate data driven decision making into business operations.
  • Prepare detailed reports/dashboards and presentations for operational leaders, highlighting insights, trends, and recommendations based on complex data sets.
  • Implement and manage data visualization projects using Looker, Tableau, and other visualization tools to make data accessible and understandable across the organization.
  • Leverage Google Sheets and other advanced analytical tools for real-time data analysis and collaborative project management.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to forecast accuracy and schedule effectiveness.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all data collection, processing, and analytics activities.
  • Manage the selection and implementation of analytics tools and platforms, including data lake enhancements, visualization/analysis tools and forecasting/scheduling.
  • Stay current with the latest in analytics technologies and methodologies, including machine learning and AI-enhanced analytics.
  • Create and maintain KPIs related to data accuracy, forecast reliability, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data analytics, including significant experience in forecasting and resource scheduling.
  • 2+ years proven management experience with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the capability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
