This is a hybrid position primarily based in Bristol. The role is responsible for the successful analysis of requirements, business implementation and transitional support of multiple initiatives that will deliver new and enhanced reporting and communications products, systems and processes intrinsic to the success of the new reporting centre of excellence.

A role you will love.

This is a Fixed term contract role; duration of the assignment will be 18months. In this role as a Reporting Solutions Analyst, you are required to liaise with internal and external business and technology teams and provide exposure to complex environments and interfaces. The role is fully responsible for the development of requirement specifications, stakeholder communications, impact analysis, implementation plans and ultimate reporting and communication solutions that are appropriate for the scope and scale of each initiative. This will involve data mapping, process re-engineering, solution design as well as the rollout and support to end users through to formal handover. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Gathering and analysis of business & data requirements and ultimately develop applicable processes and solutions.
  • Identify and manage key scope and objectives.
  • Process definition, mapping and re-engineering
  • Facilitate and Document Workshops – both Internal and External
  • Stakeholder management
  • Change Management & Communications
  • Implementation and rollout of reporting solutions
  • Reporting solution training and knowledge management
  • Accountability for User Acceptance Testing
  • Support product development initiatives, to include representing the team at project and client meetings, defining requirements, user acceptance testing etc.
  • Work within Governance, Compliance and Product boundaries ensuring that strict disciplines are adhered to in order to prevent product scope creep.

What will you bring to the role?

The role will support time-sensitive client reporting processes requiring extremely accurate calculation of data critical to the successful operation of employee equity plans and potentially other products. Data reported to clients is used for payroll purposes and often also published in public financial statements. Failure to deliver services to client expectations may place significant revenue at risk from contract termination, in addition to the risk of litigation and reputational damage.

We are looking for people with at least four years of experience in financial services with below skills:

  • Proven effective analytical comprehension.
  • Advanced Access, Macro, SQL and Excel Skills
  • High degree of self-direction, initiative, motivation and independence
  • Exceptional ability to negotiate and influence others.
  • Significant experience with reporting technologies
  • Ability to translate strategic objectives into reporting solutions and design processes.
  • Highly developed problem solving and stakeholder management skills.
  • Clear presentation skills
  • Able to facilitate and lead workshops.
  • Able to work under pressure and set, work and deliver to tight deadlines/milestones.
  • Ability to work with demanding stakeholders and develop strong working relationships.
  • Creative and innovative – able to think ‘outside the box’, whilst ensuring that reporting solutions do not compromise the delivery disciplines set within the Reporting Team
