Aretum, a leading government contracting company, is offering a valuable opportunity for a Business Consultant Intern to join our team. As a Business Consultant Intern at Aretum, you will have the chance to gain hands-on experience in providing consulting services to our government clients and supporting various projects.

Responsibilities

  • Support business growth, capture, and proposal initiatives for the sector.
  • Coordinate and support the business analytics and project controller aspects of sector projects.
  • Plan and conduct comprehensive research projects on current Federal Consultancy topics.
  • Maintain staffing plans, maintain databases, and generate reports.
  • Develop presentation templates.
  • Compile content and standardize project monthly status reports (MSRs).
  • Coordinate and streamline the onboarding and offboarding of contract personnel, to include suitability documentation submission, PIV/CAC and GFE.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure alignment between staffing and billing processes.
  • Manage contract risk registers.
  • Assist Project Managers with ad hoc contract and Account-level requests and tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills research skills, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management software.
  • Understanding government contracting regulations and procedures is a plus.
  • Understanding of military environment, culture, and protocols is a plus.
