We are looking for an experienced Cloud Systems Software Engineer to join our Enterprise Browser Product Team. Reporting to the Manager, Software Development Engineering in Spain, you will be working remotely and you'll be responsible for:

• Leading the design, architecture, and development of highly scalable, securing cloud systems that enabling seamless communication between desktop agents, browser extensions, and Zscaler's cloud infrastructure.
• Architecting fault-tolerant, distributed cloud systems that support dynamic workloads and long-running networking sessions.
• Owning and improving key services handling communication protocols (e.g., gRPC, HTTP, REST APIs) for efficient interactions with desktop agents and browser extensions.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions to complex technical challenges in Zscaler ecosystem
• Taking a proactive role in operational excellence, ensuring minimal downtime, seamless deployments, and rapid incident resolution for production services.

What We Are Looking For (Minimum Qualifications):

• 12+ years of experience in professional software development, with 5+ years focused on designing cloud systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Go (Golang), with hands-on experience building scalable API-driven cloud services and microservices
• Expert understanding of distributed systems, load balancing, caching, and fault tolerance in cloud environments.
• Strong experience with communication protocols, including HTTP, gRPC, and REST APIs, and secure endpoint design.
• Proficient in container technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Familiarity or willingness to contribute to Go or JavaScript
• Experience integrating cloud services with desktop applications or browser extensions.
• Experience with large scale desktop agents updates
