POSITION SUMMARY:
World Relief seeks an individual with a desire to help field staff track their clients’ progress through best practices in data collection. This position will assist field office staff in utilizing the Dynamics case management interface as well as supporting program reporting for the grantor. This position will provide technical assistance and data monitoring and support to the network. A successful candidate will be collaborative, detail-oriented, and deeply motivated by service. They will combine technical expertise in data with strong communication and organizational skills to ensure accurate program reporting.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Data Specialist Responsibilities
- Supports the Home Office PC Team, PC Initial Resettlement Team, and the Dynamics Database team to ensure the PC database is built to capture program data points while maintaining user friendliness.
- Contributes to case file form creation and revision for PC programs.
- Contributes to Dynamics training materials, including manuals and instruction guides.
- Interacts with field office staff regularly to support PC Dynamics use, including 1:1 training and communicating via emails and Microsoft Teams posts and messaging.
- Supports PC Program Officer, Data and Reporting in cleaning and downloading data from Dynamics, and uploading to RADS to satisfy monthly, semi-annual, and reporting requirements
- Supports offices to ensure accurate data within Dynamics on a regular basis
- Assists in semiannual narrative report writing Contributes to other team projects as needed.
- Participates in additional Communities of Practice and cross-departmental meetings within the refugee resettlement community to both contribute and stay abreast of other holistic supports through World Relief.
- Organizes and logs field guidance resources created by home office.
- Supports other general knowledge management for service line.
- Participation in up to 10% travel.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working for World Relief and familiarity with its systems
- Experience with the Preferred Communities (PC) program or Initial Resettlement at the field level
- Experience in Refugee Resettlement working in data systems
