Brand Designer
Summary of Position:
The Brand Designer is a hands-on individual contributor responsible for creating high-quality design assets across marketing, sales, executive communications, events, social media, and digital channels for Verisma. This role ensures consistent brand expression and partners with both the corporate branding agency and the web agency. The position requires strong hands-on design skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapid turnaround demands—especially for presentations where timelines from ask to delivery can be extremely tight. The Brand Designer works directly and frequently with C-level executives across the organization, receiving briefs, incorporating feedback, and delivering polished work with a high degree of professionalism and executive presence. This role maintains brand standards while delivering compelling visuals that support growth initiatives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Brand Management and Visual Standards:
- Maintain and evolve brand guidelines to ensure consistent visual identity across all materials.
- Collaborate with the corporate branding agency and web agency to ensure cohesive brand expression.
- Ensure all creative outputs meet high standards for clarity, consistency, and storytelling quality.
- Document and maintain comprehensive brand guidelines covering approved typography, color palettes, imagery, iconography, logo usage, and design standards across all tools including Canva and PowerPoint templates.
Executive and Sales Presentation Design:
- Contribute to board-level PowerPoint presentations; this role carries a heavy presentation design workload requiring exceptional polish and storytelling.
- Build and maintain a full suite of elevated, brand-consistent sales assets including pitch decks, one-pagers, PDFs, and PowerPoint decks aligned to Verisma’s brand guidelines.
- Create visually compelling sales pitch decks and proposals that support revenue goals and reflect the quality and professionalism of the Verisma brand.
- Translate complex information into visually engaging formats across all presentation and asset types.
- Serve as an internal creative resource for other departments requiring presentation or graphic design support.
Social Media Brand Expansion:
- Create engaging social graphics that strengthen Verisma’s brand recognition.
- Partner with Content and Demand Generation teams to scale social content.
- Build reusable visual templates to support high-volume social content.
- Use performance insights to refine visual strategy.
Cross-Functional Creative Execution:
- Produce visuals for campaigns, product launches, and integrated marketing initiatives including: digital, print, infographic, and multimedia assets.
- Design event booth graphics, trade show displays, and conference materials that project a strong, cohesive brand presence.
- Design and deliver landing page visuals and web graphics in partnership with the web agency.
Project and Workflow Management:
- Manage fast turnaround requests while overseeing long-term creative projects.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight, same-day or next-day deadlines; particularly for executive and sales presentations where turnaround from ask to delivery is often immediate.
- Coordinate with agencies and stakeholders to ensure alignment and on-time delivery.
- Implement efficient workflows, file organization systems, and brand governance.
- Ensure quality control and brand consistency across all materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, marketing, or related field; five or more years of experience in graphic or brand design.
- Portfolio submission is mandatory and will be evaluated against B2B IT industry standards. It must demonstrate breadth of skills and a clear aptitude for enterprise-grade design. Encouraged pieces include product sheets, sales-ready slideware, event booth graphics, and digital or print ads.
- Expert proficiency in PowerPoint and Canva; advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); working knowledge of Figma or similar prototyping tools.
- Experience designing for social media platforms and digital advertising channels.
- Experience creating event booth graphics, trade show displays, large-format print materials, and landing page visuals.
- Background in healthcare, health IT, or B2B environments preferred.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver polished, high-quality work under tight deadlines, particularly for executive and sales presentations with same-day or next-day turnaround.
- Demonstrated comfort working directly and independently with C-level executives—receiving direction, managing feedback, and delivering with professionalism and confidence.
