Job Title: Application Consultant

Role Purpose

The Application Consultant supports the implementation, configuration, optimization, and ongoing support of enterprise banking applications. This role acts as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring application solutions align with business objectives, regulatory standards, and user needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business and functional requirements, translating them into scalable and efficient application solutions
• Configure, customize, and enhance enterprise banking applications to support operational efficiency and digital transformation initiatives
• Act as a liaison between business users, vendors, developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure clear communication and successful delivery
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios, coordinating testing activities, and resolving defects and system issues
• Provide production support, including issue investigation, root cause analysis, and coordination of fixes to minimize business disruption
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize application performance, usability, and reliability
• Assist with application documentation, release planning, and change management activities

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 5 years experience in application consulting, application support, or systems implementation roles
• Proven experience within banking or financial services, including exposure to core banking or digital banking platforms
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language
• Experience supporting UAT, production environments, and post-implementation support
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and fast-paced environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies
• Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, or security requirements in financial services environments
• Exposure to vendor-managed or third-party banking applications
