United States onlyWe are seeking a dynamic, collaborative and experienced Attorney to join our California Staff Counsel group. The role is based in our Glendale, CA office, but the employee may work in office, hybrid, or remote. The attorney will handle the defense of Hanover insureds in connection with personal injury and property damage matters, including trials, depositions, and mediations.
Requirements
- Must be licensed to practice law in the state courts in California.
- Must have a minimum of 5+ years' experience in handling litigated personal injury/property damage disputes.
- Trial experience desired.
- Must have a strong knowledge of current procedural and substantive law, as well as court rules.
- Must demonstrate an ability to analyze issues, pro-actively develop effective strategies on pending cases, communicate regularly with claims professionals, document communications, and resolve cases as efficiently and effectively as possible.
