About the team and the role:

The International Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive international marketing strategies partnering with marketing channel experts and international business development leads that align with our business goals. This role requires a strong collaborator and planner who can work closely with global marketing teams, business leaders, and external stakeholders to ensure successful market expansion. Reporting directly to the Director of Buyer Marketing, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in global marketing and a deep understanding of global market dynamics.

The Marketing Department promotes TCGplayer as a brand and drives sales of our products and services. The team is responsible for the long-term planning, strategy, and execution of creative and digital campaigns across multiple channels (internal and external) supporting company priorities and goals. Marketing also serves as brand stewards by defining and evolving the company's voice and visual identity.


What you will accomplish:

  • Develop and implement international marketing strategies in close collaboration with marketing channel leads and regional stakeholders to support business expansion goals

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders and teams to align strategies, tactics, and go to market plans across all channels, ensuring consistent global messaging and localized execution

  • Establish relationships with and serve as the primary marketing point of contact to international expansion business, technology and product leads as well as global market leads, ensuring alignment and successful integration of marketing efforts

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Design and Copywriting, to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all global markets and initiatives

  • Coordinate all necessary services and resources including localization services needed to successfully execute marketing strategies and campaigns

  • Partner closely with marketing channel leads to manage budgets and resources effectively to maximize ROI and achieve goals

  • Own performance reporting and insight generation for international campaigns, leveraging analytics to refine strategies, share learnings, and inform future initiatives

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and global market developments identifying new opportunities for market entry and growth

  • Champion cultural fluency and audience understanding across regions, guiding teams to adapt creative and messaging appropriately for each market

  • Present regular performance updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, clearly communicating progress, challenges, and opportunities

What you will bring:

  • Minimum 4-7 years of experience in international or global marketing, with a proven record of launching and scaling successful campaigns across multiple regions

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, or relevant experience

  • Expertise in global go-to-market planning, localization, and cross-regional campaign execution

  • Strong understanding of global market dynamics and cultural considerations, and buyer behavior

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively across teams and regions remotely

  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in marketing analytics tools, CRM systems, and digital marketing platforms, and the ability to interpret data to guide decisions

  • Proficient time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively while being highly organized

  • Experience managing international budgets and coordinating with stakeholders, vendors or agencies

  • Highly organized and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities and pivot quickly to meet evolving market needs

  • Ability to travel internationally as needed

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

$70,000 - $120,700

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
