Summary The Sr. Brand Manager is a critical role within Aspen Surgical’s marketing organization, responsible for driving downstream commercial execution across key product brands. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Communications & Digital, this role is embedded alongside Product Managers to translate product and portfolio strategies into clear, consistent marketing programs that accelerate revenue and improve sales effectiveness. This position is ideal for a marketer who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution, someone who can build strong value propositions, launch products with speed and precision, and enable commercial teams to win in the market. In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to Brand Strategy & Messaging

  • Develop and maintain clear, compelling value propositions for assigned product brands, ensuring consistency across all commercial touchpoints.
  • Own the messaging architecture and competitive positioning for assigned product brands or portfolios.
  • Translate product differentiation into language that resonates with target buyers.
  • Define and refine target segmentation and buyer personas to inform go-to-market decisions.
  • Serve as the brand steward, ensuring brand and messaging integrity across touchpoints.

Downstream Marketing & Sales Enablement

  • Build and manage the annual downstream marketing plan and calendar for assigned brands, aligning activities with commercial priorities and revenue targets.
  • Develop campaign strategies and integrated go-to-market plans that drive demand generation and market activation.
  • Build and deliver high-impact sales enablement tools, including sales collateral, positioning and messaging guides.
  • Author project briefs for creative and digital teams, ensuring downstream deliverables align with brand strategy and commercial objectives.
  • Lead the downstream marketing execution for product launches, driving standardized launch playbooks that accelerate time-to-market.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Integration

  • Work closely with Product Management to understand the product portfolio, pipeline, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Commercial Operations, Regulatory, Global and external partners to align programs and maximize commercial impact.
  • Support the integration of newly acquired brands into Aspen Surgical’s commercial systems.
  • Build scalable, proactive marketing processes that efficiently support sales, distributors, and global teams.

Marketing Operations & Performance

  • Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing programs, using data-driven insights to continuously improve performance.
  • Identify and implement best practices, templates, and tools to improve marketing efficiency and output quality across the team.

What you need to succeed in this position

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 7–10 years of experience in brand management, product marketing, or account management, preferably supporting B2B products.
  • Proven ability to translate product strategy into downstream marketing execution.
  • Strong experience with product launch planning and go-to-market execution.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complexity for diverse audiences.
  • Experience in a regulated industry preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker who is equally comfortable with hands-on execution.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and bias toward action.
  • Collaborative, curious, and energized by building something new.
  • Operates with integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to Aspen Surgical’s mission.
