Job Description
SUMMARY: This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a corporate accounting operations environment, supports key functions of the Accounts Payable group.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
- Creates and updates supplier information in NetSuite for all departments within 3-5 days of the request
- Replies to requesters within the 3-5 days providing update confirmation
- Responsible for all file maintenance, current and historical
- Participate in ad hoc projects and reporting tasks as needed
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently pursuing a BS or MBA/MS
OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Observational and listening skills
- Self-motivation and excellent problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and organizational skills
- Ability to listen effectively, respect others’ perspectives and contributions, and offer and accept constructive feedback
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Netsuite
- Experience with Accounting/Bookkeeping is a plus
- Experience with Data Analytics
- Experience with system administration/vendor management
This internship is paying $22.00/per hour.
