United States onlySTR is currently seeking a Temporary Technical Sourcer to help us identify and engage top-tier talent to fill technical roles within the Defense Industry.
Core Responsibilities:
- Source, engage, and qualify candidates for technical roles (e.g., Software Engineers, Systems Engineers, Reverse Engineers, RF Engineers, etc.) supporting programs within the Defense Industry
- Build and manage pipelines of cleared candidates (Secret, TS/SCI, Poly)
- Partner with recruiters to understand the hiring needs of the technical staff
- Utilize defense-specific sourcing channels (e.g., ClearedJobs.net, ClearanceJobs, Dice Clearance, etc.), as well as LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut, and Boolean sourcing techniques
- Conduct phone screens, assess technical qualifications, and present vetted candidates to hiring teams
- Maintain compliance with government hiring guidelines and internal processes
- Ensure all candidate data is accurately tracked in the ATS
Requirements:
- 4+ years of technical sourcing experience, with at least 2 years specifically focused on sourcing within the Defense Industry
- Strong understanding of security clearance levels and government contract requirements
- Proven ability to source hard-to-find technical candidates in competitive cleared markets
- Experience working with government contracts, program hiring, and surge recruiting efforts
- Proficiency with sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, ClearanceJobs, Dice, SeekOut, etc.) and ATS platforms
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
- This position could potentially convert to full-time employment and therefore, requires the ability to obtain a security clearance, for which U.S. citizenship is required by U.S. Government
Pay Information:
Full-Time Salary Range: $124,000 - $135,000
The salary range listed is based on external market data. Offers are based on factors, such as but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, key skills/critical skills, security clearances, and prevailing market and business conditions.
