Staff4Me is actively searching for a dedicated Network Engineer (T3) to enhance our talented team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our network infrastructure operates efficiently and effectively by providing expert technical support and collaborating on complex network projects. As a Network Engineer (T3), you will play a key role in diagnosing network issues, implementing solutions, and maintaining high standards of network performance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and support network configurations that meet client requirements.
  • Manage and monitor network performance, applying proactive troubleshooting techniques to minimize downtime.
  • Configure and maintain networking hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and other equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on the execution of network projects and upgrades.
  • Assist in developing and implementing network security policies and best practices.
  • Document network changes, configurations, and processes for future reference.
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and staff.
  • Stay informed about new networking technologies and industry developments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in network engineering or similar roles.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, and switching principles.
  • Experience with network management systems and monitoring tools.
  • Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting network devices from various vendors, particularly Cisco.
  • A basic understanding of network security protocols and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and virtualization concepts is advantageous.
