Partner Solutions Architect - Dev Tooling Ecosystems
We're looking for a solutions oriented technical architect to join our alliances/business development team, in order to engage with our broad partner ecosystem in building compelling technical solutions and narratives, of how Snyk complements the partner story to deliver unique value to the partner's customers.
The partner solutions architect works closely with our Business Development team in building long lasting relationships with key ecosystem partners. The Partner Architecture team is responsible for understanding each partner's tech stack and key narratives and messaging; building reference architectures, and enablement for sellers and marketing teams on both sides. Partner architects are expected to become the subject matter experts for the list of key select partners, and based on that understanding, build the reference architectures, the marketecture and enablement docs. Partner architects work closely with product and engineering leadership within Snyk and on the partner side.
You will be expected to influence decision makers at the executive level, as well as have the proven ability to interact with cross-functional stakeholders. You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and communicate clearly.
Partner Solution Architects are very hands on and highly technical. They must be able to dive deep, build complex Snyk/Partner optimized architectures, and help influence strategic roadmaps/develop a long term strategy with Snyk RD teams.
PSAs have the opportunity to work directly with senior engineers at our Partners, and our internal RD teams, influencing roadmaps and driving innovation.
You'll spend your time:
Relationship building: work closely with your business development counterpart on building relationships with marketing, product and engineering leadership at our key partners
Providing partners with technical guidance and ideation related to Snyk/DevOps (defining how Snyk could best complement the partners ecosystem both on a strategic and a solution level.)
Establish and maintain trusted adviser relationships with the technical and development teams with our customers and partners.
Building reference architectures, marketectures and decks capturing these narratives, and providing partnership value propositions.
Communicating to various personas at various levels from executive stakeholders to technical engineers and product managers
Demonstrating Snyk products and services to partners live, via webinar sessions, and/or at field events such as conferences and trade shows.
Working with key Snyk alliance partner marketing stakeholders to develop value prop messaging for sales enablement and training.
Assisting Snyk and partner field teams in enterprise opportunities across all geos when needed
You should apply if you:
have spent 5 years or more in a solutions engineering, sales engineering or similar position in the cloud-native and/or DevOps space
have experience helping partners/customers in their development and deployment of API solutions, using Snyk APIs.
understand and can document existing customer workflows, identify transformation opportunities, and drive adoption of new, prescribed workflows.you have experience and a deep understanding of DevOps ecosystem and tools and/or the cloud-native vendor landscape.
love to learn about new technology and you're curious about how things work under the hood
are articulate and pride yourself in conveying complex ideas in simple terms, verbally and on video calls (in front of partners, execs and stakeholders)
are comfortable talking to both business exec and stakeholders, as well as technical engineers and product people
