Position Summary

Sibylline is seeking a Threats and Intelligence Senior Analyst to join our team, embedded within a client’s global security function. This is a remote, U.S.-based role. The successful candidate will provide actionable threat intelligence and guidance to decision-makers. Reporting directly to the Embedded Operations Manager, the analyst will oversee strategic intelligence efforts and gather timely, accurate intelligence on threats and risks to the client’s personnel and executives worldwide.

The ideal candidate is adaptable in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong analytical skills, and is technically proficient with the ability to conceptualize and synthesize disparate information. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in advanced online investigation techniques (OSINT).

The successful candidate can expect to work during standard business hours, with the occasional out-of-hours work for emergencies and time-sensitive matters. Candidates will exhibit flexibility and adaptability to changing needs of the work schedule; they must be self-starters and able to hit the ground running, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a global team.

This position represents an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to continue their development as an intelligence analyst with a leading firm growing at 50% per year. We offer strong career progression and are invested in building individuals' personal professional profiles. Moreover, being embedded truly offers “the best of both worlds”, giving a small firm ethos alongside large firm exposure and experience.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities

  • Deliver credible, timely, and actionable intelligence to support investigations, develop proactive leads, and inform operators and business decision-makers.

  • Identify, investigate, and manage security incidents involving the client and partner organizations.

  • Conduct deep-dive investigations into threats targeting senior leadership and C-suite executives across all communication channels.

  • Produce raw and finished intelligence products for internal and external stakeholders, meeting varying deadlines and depth requirements with minimal supervision.

  • Liaise across client functions, including Brand Risk Management, Human Resources, and Escalations.

  • Present weekly threat updates to senior leadership and conduct briefings as needed (via phone, video conference, in-person, or industry events).

  • Collect intelligence on external threats and internal incidents affecting employees, customers, facilities, and brand reputation.

  • Maintain statistical and written reporting on user threats, incidents, and investigations for management review.

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including law enforcement, public safety, intelligence, and investigative organizations.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to deliver high-quality intelligence and investigative products under tight deadlines, including operational briefs and strategic assessments.

  • Skilled in handling and securely disseminating sensitive information.

  • Strong OSINT and advanced research capabilities; able to assess threat actors’ capability, intent, and proximity using limited data.

  • Effective collaborator across service functions such as IT, HR, Finance, Legal, and Trust & Safety.

  • Comfortable in process-driven environments, ensuring consistency and methodological rigor in outputs.

  • Proficient in data manipulation, visualization, and rapid analysis of large information sets.

  • Analytical thinker with creative insight into complex situations and a clear understanding of how security events impact business operations.

  • Adaptable and proactive, with integrity, initiative, and a continuous learning mindset; excels in both independent and team settings.

  • Proficient in MS Office; preferred experience in global security functions and technical collaboration with IT.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Studies, International Relations, Law, Journalism, Criminal Justice, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • 3–5 years of relevant corporate experience, including exposure to private sector geopolitical analysis, security, and/or investigations.

  • Preferred foreign language proficiency.
