Our teams are diverse, fully distributed, and with no offices - we are looking for team members who are comfortable with and motivated by the opportunity to work remotely.
For this position, we are looking for candidates located or open to working preferably in the GMT-5 or GMT-8 timezone.
A Product Manager to join our Product organization and expand our integration capabilities by working with strategic ecommerce partners like Klaviyo, Recharge, Klarna and more for Shogun Frontend.
We’re looking for individuals that start by delivering differentiated product experiences that enable our customers to accelerate their access to our amazing eco-system of tech partners. This isn’t a relationship or business development role, you will be embedded in a squad of engineers and designers to drive product direction to enable a thriving ecosystem of technology partners.
You will be working with a network of developers from partner companies and translate their needs and pain points into product features.
We are looking for individuals that naturally identify customer pain points, champion them with qualitative and quantitative data to partners, build business cases for investment, and drive solutions into our product roadmap. You will work closely with our Director of Tech Partnerships on delivering the best of breed solutions that ecommerce customers demand.
In This Role You Will...
Engage with our partners to identify opportunities to integrate deeper into our platform (APIs, accelerated integration packages)
Manage roadmaps per partner — effectively prioritize potential projects from various inputs so the team is focused on the highest leverage projects.
Gain a deep understanding of agency developers and their needs to work with integrations and APIs
Reflect the voice of the customer to all stakeholders across the business by acquiring customer empathy through direct and indirect customer research
Create and iterate user stories, design requirements and collaborate with engineering on technical feasibility
Ultimately, deliver products that Shogun clients love
Skills You Have
3+ years of experience in Product Management and/or engineering or UX roles, ideally in the eCommerce space
Experience in working with end-to-end product teams
API marketplace experience
Creating and implementing user-centric solutions
Working with an ecosystem of developers to empower them to integrate into platforms
Design thinking comes to you naturally - a natural desire to work backwards from the customer problem and constantly check assumptions
Proven experience working with both qualitative customer insights, and quantitative customer data to inform decisions
Familiarity with fundamental web technologies including but not limited to JAMstack, Progressive Web Applications, and Content Management Systems - bonus points for articulating “Headless"
A working understanding of the ecommerce landscape such as the major platform players and modular components that merchants rely on to grow their businesses
