SUMMARY
The Product Manager leads the vision and development of a third-party product within our organization. This role is a unique opportunity to define, build, and shape the product strategy from scratch and drive cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional value to our Sevita stakeholders.
The Product Manager acts as the primary advocate for the product, bridging business needs and technical delivery while working closely with stakeholders, customers, and development teams. This role’s leadership is crucial in establishing product roadmaps, prioritizing features, and setting the foundation for product success.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Execution
◦ Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery and planning to launch and iteration for integrations and enhancements ◦ Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with overall company goals. ◦ Work closely with executive leadership to translate business objectives into a prioritized product roadmap. ◦ Serve as the single source of truth for the product backlog, ensuring clarity, transparency, and prioritization aligned with stakeholder needs and business objectives. ◦ Make day-to-day decisions on product priorities and scope adjustments in response to evolving requirements and stakeholder inputs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
◦ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure cohesive product delivery. ◦ Engage directly with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to gather feedback, validate assumptions, and refine product requirements. ◦ Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. ◦ Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, facilitating clear communication and alignment throughout the product development process.
- Product Development
◦ Write clear, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for agile development teams. ◦ Prioritize backlog items effectively to maximize value and ensure timely delivery of features. ◦ Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to inform product decisions. ◦ Lead product demos, sprint planning, and retrospective sessions, providing clear communication on progress and risks ◦ Ensure that acceptance criteria are met, and the delivered product increments meet the expected quality and functionality before release.
- Process Improvement & Optimization
◦ Establish metrics and KPIs to measure product performance and drive data-informed decisions. ◦ Continuously refine product management processes to improve delivery efficiency and product quality.
- Communication
◦ Communicate results, timelines and status, to a broad and targeted audience, including the most senior executives in the company, on an informal and formal basis ◦ Facilitate discussions as a liaison between functional and field teams, including “translating” problem statements or requirements on behalf of key stakeholders ◦ Champion innovation and transparency by providing timely updates to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and managing expectations throughout the product lifecycle

Minimum Knowledge and Skills required for the Job The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 5 - 10+ years of product ownership or product management experience, preferably with experience launching new products.
- Proven success in leading new product initiatives within complex organizations.
- Strong understanding of agile development methodologies.
- Experience conducting customer interviews, market research, and data analysis.
- Technical background or experience working closely with engineering teams is a plus.

- Strong strategic thinking with ability to balance long-term vision and short-term execution.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and drive clarity and focus.
Other Requirements:
- Travel as needed; 25% estimated but not guaranteed
Physical Requirements:
- Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
