The job is to develop a practical guideline on Village Savings and Loan Association (VSLA) formation and implementation, and document learning and best practices from the GrowHer Cocoa Project. The consultant will conduct a structured review and documentation process, analyze the VSLA implementation context, and compile learning from existing documents and stakeholders. The deliverables include a VSLA formation and implementation guideline, a lessons learned document, and a final report.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in economics, rural development, social sciences, gender studies, community development, or other relevant fields
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, reviewing, or documenting community-based savings and loan initiatives
- Proven experience in developing practical, simple, and user-friendly operational guidelines or learning documents
- Strong analytical, facilitation, and communication skills
- Demonstrated understanding of gender-responsive and inclusive approaches in economic empowerment programs
