The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services Process and Systems Transformation (PST) Team:

RTX has an opening for a Digital Lead R2R - S4 HANA (Manager, Business Systems and Transformation) position.

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), and Project Systems (PS), with strong working knowledge of S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across various modules and integrations, including tax systems, payroll accounting, asset accounting, PMMO, and able to provide guidance on RICEFW development. This role requires excellent functional design skills, independent execution capabilities, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of SAP solutions across Finance, Controlling, and Project Systems in an S/4HANA environment.
  • Perform complete configuration of Enterprise Structure and related objects.
  • Provide functional expertise on domestic and international tax scenarios and integrate with external tax systems such as OneSource and Vertex.
  • Configure and support Asset Accounting, including asset classes, depreciation areas, and depreciation keys.
  • Provide support for Payroll Accounting and ensure proper integration with finance processes.
  • Design and implement integration scenarios between Project Systems and other SAP streams, especially Order-to-Cash (O2C).
  • Possess working knowledge of Project Manufacturing Management and Optimization (PMMO) functionalities.
  • Utilize Extensibility fields effectively to tailor the solution to business needs.
  • Prepare high-quality Design Documents, Functional Specifications, and ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to guide the development of RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) objects.
  • Work closely with Security Teams to design and validate SAP security roles and authorizations.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of S/4HANA configuration, including its distinctions from SAP ECC, and provide expert guidance to functional areas, particularly in Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
  • Work independently while collaborating with process teams to gather inputs and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Travel up to 30%.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Minimum of 8+ years’ SAP functional experience in S/4 HANA and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree.
  • Deep knowledge of FI, CO, PS configuration and business processes.
  • Experience in integration with external tax systems (OneSource, Vertex).
  • Hands-on experience in Asset Accounting, Payroll Accounting, and PMMO.
  • Strong understanding of SAP extensibility, security design, and RICEFW development cycle.
  • Experience preparing functional design documents and working across technical and security teams.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Familiarity with differences between S/4HANA and ECC and ability to guide teams accordingly.
  • Experience in global implementation or support projects.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific practices in manufacturing, aerospace, or similar domains.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
