About the company
Remote World is partnering with a UK-based SaaS company to hire for this role. They build operations management software used by logistics and field service businesses, and they're investing heavily in improving their user experience — the product works well, but it needs to feel better to use.
The role
You'll design the screens, flows, and interactions that make the product intuitive for non-technical users in operations-heavy businesses. You'll work from user research and product requirements, create wireframes and high-fidelity mockups in Figma, and collaborate closely with frontend developers.
What you'll do
- Design wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity UI mockups in Figma
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Develop and maintain the product's design system and component library
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers from brief to shipped
- Iterate designs based on user feedback, analytics, and A/B test results
What you'll need
- Proficient in Figma — you design at speed and keep files organised
- Strong portfolio showing UI work for web or mobile products
- Understanding of UX principles — you design for usability, not just aesthetics
- Collaborative — you work well with PMs and engineers
Nice to have
- Experience designing for B2B or enterprise SaaS products
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Motion design or prototyping experience in Figma or Principle
What you'll get
- $600–$1,000 USD/month based on experience
- Fully remote with flexible hours
- High design influence — you'll shape how thousands of users experience the product
- Paid leave
- Path to Senior Product Designer or Head of Design
