About the company
Remote World is partnering with a US-based e-commerce company to hire for this role. They serve a global customer base and need a customer service agent who can deliver fast, friendly, and professional support.
The role
You'll handle inbound customer queries across email and live chat — resolving account issues, processing requests, and making sure every customer interaction reflects the brand well. You'll own your queue and work to clear SLA targets.
What you'll do
- Respond to customer enquiries via live chat and email within SLA
- Resolve order, billing, and account issues or escalate clearly
- Log all interactions in the CRM and keep records accurate
- Identify recurring issues and flag them to the operations team
- Maintain high CSAT and first-contact resolution scores
What you'll need
- Strong written English — clear, warm, and professional
- Patient and solution-focused under pressure
- Comfortable picking up new software and processes quickly
- Reliable internet and a quiet working environment
Nice to have
- Experience with Zendesk, Intercom, or similar support platforms
- Arabic language skills (spoken and written)
- Previous customer service experience in retail or e-commerce
