As a Senior Product Manager, you will help us build a Reforge offering that understands the real problems our members face, delivers powerful and engaging solutions, and helps them progress further in their careers. This means (with heavy collaboration from other teams) developing new solutions and experiences, breaking our existing offerings into smaller bits, and linking together the diverse ways members can solve problems. The scope spans from discovery and navigation, through activation, feature retention, satisfaction, and more. You will likely leave an imprint on all core surface areas of our product. This is a big bet for the business and industry, but if done well we believe we can truly transform our members’ careers.
The product management team works cross functionally to identify opportunities that create value, design, develop, and launch product features, and gather both quantitative and qualitative learnings. It’s a highly multi-faceted role and we tend to wear many hats. You'll be joining as part of the foundational team of a profitable proven startup. We bootstrapped to high seven-figure revenue, led by experienced entrepreneurs, and recently we raised a $60M round led by Insight Partners. In addition, you will integrate into our community of subject matter experts, including the leaders who helped build companies like Slack, Pinterest, CreditKarma, ClassPass, ipsy, Eventbrite, SurveyMonkey, Thumbtack, and more.
In a traditional world, before the advent of tech, bankers, manufacturing leaders, and others progressed to the top of their industry through an MBA. WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
Cross-Functional Product Team - You'll work closely with talented designers, product managers, engineers, data analysts and more.
Head of Product – You'll work closely with Helen Sims who formerly was Head of Product for the Host team at Airbnb, and Director of Product at Zynga.
Leaders from our Insights, Content and Operations Teams - This role is highly cross-functional. You’ll partner with leaders from around the organization to deliver incredible results.
Executive Team - You will work with industry-leading executives and managers from our internal teams. These leaders come from companies like Slack, Bain & Company, Airbnb, and CreditKarma
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Help members uncover the problems they are trying to solve through strategic onboarding and activation flows
Creating net new experiences for our members that help them do the best work of their careers (e.g. Develop a Group coaching product, Mastermind groups, Expert 1:1 calls).
Organize our solution set to allow members to intuitively find solutions to the problems they are currently facing, but also gain exposure to the next set of challenges they are likely to face in their career.
Create connective tissue across our Member and Expert audience that shows our users the network who is also facing (or has solved) the same challenges.
SKILLS & WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
5+ years of relevant Product Management experience
Experience launching software consumer products, with a proven track record of measuring success and improving outcomes
Experience building a 0→1 product
Experience leading a cross-functional pod or squad across engineering, design, and data
Nice to Haves:
Reforge alum and/or familiar with our product
Experience building a product that includes collaboration with functions outside of the Product org (e.g. Marketing, Operations, etc)
Experience with evaluating success of a product without relying on quantitative impact
Experience building a coaching or learning and development product
