United States onlyOur client, a boutique tax firm serving clients from many professions and fields that focuses on complex tax issues, is seeking an Experienced Tax Senior / Preparer who is a resourceful and motivated CPA (or EA) to be the next successful member of their growing firm. Their focus is serving clients for all their tax needs in addition to being a trusted advisor.
Job Description
- Prepare complex Tax Returns of varying complexities for businesses (Forms 1120, 1120-S, 1065). individuals (Form 1040) and trusts (Form 1041).
- Prepare tax projections/estimates as necessary.
- Research tax questions as necessary
- Interface with IRS and other tax agencies regarding client issues and audits.
- Collaborate effectively and efficiently with all firm employees
- Provide timely, high quality client service.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- CPA and/or Enrolled Agent license (or in the process of obtaining)
- 3+ years of recent experience in tax and tax accounting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience using QuickBooks and Lacerte Tax software.
- Experience with Fiduciary Tax Returns
- Experience with Individual International Taxes
