About this Position
The Pega Senior System Architect is responsible for developing and implementing business applications using Pega PRPC and other Pega frameworks. This role handles hands on Pega development on functional implementations, issue resolution, system administration and other areas of learning. It also develops and demonstrates an advanced knowledge of the PRPC Architecture and all PRPC design and implementation features.Open to candidates that live anywhere in the United States. Position requires working Eastern time zone hours.
The salary range for this role is $120k - $130k.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
Essential Functions
- Responsible for developing and implementing business applications using Pega PRPC and other Pega frameworks.
- Responsible for developing and implementing business applications using Pega PRPC and other Pega frameworks in accordance to provided functional requirements and Pega guardrails, guidelines and security standards.
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of Pega PRPC and extensive configuration capabilities
- Timely Delivery
- Committed to realization of business benefit within expected timeframes
- Assist in effective risk management by communicating blockers in a timely manner
- Hands on technical implementations of functionality, integrations, issue resolution and system support
- Code and implement complete life cycle of project in Pega PRPC and frameworks including but not limited to design, configuration, coding, testing, automation, deployment.
- Code to acceptable industry security standards.
- Capable of integrating multiple technologies using Pega systems Architect, design, and develop advanced customizations utilizing Pega.
- Design and implement system integrations using emerging and established technologies
- Keep abreast with emerging technologies within Pega and the industry in general
Required Skills
- Must have Bachelor of engineering in Computer Science or related field
- 8+ years experience in design and implementation of PRPC-based solutions
- 4+ years’ experience with PRPC v7 and above
- 2+ years as Pega certified CSSA
- Proven experience and ability with implementation of complete life cycle of project in Pega PRPC including but not limited to design, configuration, coding, testing, automation, deployment
- Expertise and good understanding of Relational Database Management Systems including architecting and designing for performance and scalability in Pega PRPC
- Solid fundamentals in Core Java & object-oriented concepts
- Excellent skills in any of the RDBMS tools like Oracle/MSSQL/DB2. Must be proficient in SQL commands.
- Insurance domain knowledge, Experience on Pega Insurance frameworks is a plus
- Provides training, guidance or mentoring to team members; no formal supervisory responsibilities

- Experience working with Power BI and Dynatrace
- Pega UI UX developer experience,
- Pega systems Administration capabilities,
- Pega Performance Engineering experience
- Pega Robotics experience
