The Market Expansion Team is responsible for expanding PlanHub’s project coverage and ensuring the accuracy of construction project data across all regions. As a Researcher, you will investigate construction projects, confirm key project details, and gather information essential to supporting our customers, sales teams, and internal operations.
This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, persistent, and thrives in a research-driven environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Research construction projects to identify General Contractors (GCs), PlanHolders, bidders, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Obtain and monitor GC bidders and PlanHolder lists for projects in bidding status through internet research and by contacting project team members via email—with a minimum monthly quota for outreach and information collected.
- Investigate and document project award status, tracking updates and outcomes.
- Review, analyze, and extract relevant project details from large sets of construction documents.
- Validate and cross-check information to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Contact project stakeholders—architects, contractors, owners, and municipal agencies—via phone and email to gather missing or updated project information.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships to streamline future communication and improve data accuracy.
- Utilize internet tools, PlanHub systems, and research platforms to identify and verify project data.
What you'll need to be successful:
- 1–3 years of experience in research, data entry, construction administration, or a similar detail-oriented role.
- Experience with Google Suite, HubSpot, and internet-based research systems.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze documents and extract key information.
- Comfortable communicating with stakeholders via email and phone.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple research tasks and meet monthly quotas.
- Construction industry experience or familiarity is a plus but not required.

This role is eligible for an annual base salary of $40,000 - $45,000, based on experience. In addition, the position is eligible for variable compensation tied to individual performance, and paid on a quarterly basis.
This position will be a remote position within the United States. Occasional trips to our West Palm Beach, FL office, may be required. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer within the United States. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
