As a Sales Account Manager for Hospital Patient Monitoring, you'll drive significant sales growth and customer loyalty by developing strategic account plans, cultivating senior-level relationships, leading global teams in bespoke customer solutions, and spearheading advanced commercial strategies in a transformational and high-stakes environment.
Your role:
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategic account plans for complex accounts, driving significant sales growth, profitability, and long-term customer loyalty through tailored strategies and focused efforts.
- Promote and maintain senior-level relationships with customer stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring alignment with their strategic objectives to foster mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Work under limited supervision, applying independent judgment to drive project success and compliance, possibly managing and developing employees to achieve organizational goals while ensuring regulatory compliance and fostering a culture of impact with care.
- Lead the development and implementation of solutions for customers, coordinating with global cross-functional teams to meet diverse and complex needs, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction and generating impactful outcomes.
- Conduct in-depth market intelligence and competitive analysis to identify macro trends, opportunities, and risks, informing high-level strategic planning and decision-making to drive business growth and optimize performance metrics.
You're the right fit if:
- You’ve acquired at least 6 years of customer relationship management, sales, business development, account management or related experience in a business to consumer healthcare/medical environment.
- Your skills include knowledge of Philips IntelliVue monitoring equipment and applications or capital medical equipment sales.
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field of study.
- You have experience building, managing, and tracking sales results in Salesforce (over quota performance, forecast accuracy, balanced portfolio, competitive wins).
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Sales position.
You must be able to:
Travel for business (car/air/train/bus).
Approximately 40% travel across Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba is required.
Work in an office/home office and/or remote setting, as well as in a hospital/healthcare environment; adhere to requirements.
Wear all required personal protective equipment.
May be required to comply with vendor credentialing.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Pay Transparency Details
The base pay range for this position is $70,000 to $110,000, plus sales commission and company/fleet car. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
