AU Mortgage Credit Analyst (Remote – Australian Mortgage Broking)
Role Overview
  • The AU Mortgage Credit Analyst is responsible for structuring, packaging, and managing Australian residential and investor loan applications from scenario analysis through to formal approval. This role focuses on credit assessment, lender policy alignment, deal structuring, and end-to-end loan processing using Apply Online, Broker Engine, AFG, and FLEX systems.
Core Responsibilities:
Credit Analysis & Loan Structuring
  • Analyze borrower financials including income documents, tax returns, financial statements, liabilities, and living expenses.
  • Assess serviceability using lender calculators and policy guidelines.
  • Structure investor-focused and complex lending scenarios (PAYG, self-employed, multi-entity, trust structures).
  • Conduct valuation reviews and assess LVR, risk profile, and credit exposure.
  • Align loan scenarios with lender credit policy and appetite.
Loan Packaging & Submission
  • Prepare and package compliant loan applications for submission.
  • Submit applications via Apply Online, Broker Engine, AFG, and FLEX platforms.
  • Ensure accuracy of supporting documentation (ID, income verification, servicing worksheets, compliance notes).
  • Maintain complete and audit-ready credit files.
Lender & Stakeholder Management
  • Liaise with lenders, credit assessors, and Business Development Managers (BDMs).
  • Manage application pipeline from submission to conditional and formal approval.
  • Respond to lender queries, conditions, and additional document requests.
  • Coordinate with brokers, virtual assistants (VAs), and offshore support teams.
Pipeline & Performance Management
  • Drive applications toward approval within SLA timeframes.
  • Monitor approval rates, turnaround times, and file quality metrics.
  • Minimize rework and resubmissions through accurate credit assessment.
  • Maintain CRM updates and workflow tracking.

Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in Australian mortgage broking or mortgage credit analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience structuring investor and complex residential lending scenarios.
  • Experience managing loans from submission to formal approval.
  • Strong understanding of Australian lending regulations and credit policies.
  • Experience working within an Australian mortgage brokerage environment.

  • 5+ years’ Australian mortgage credit or broking experience.
  • Experience with self-employed, trust, and complex borrower structures.
  • Exposure to offshore team collaboration.
  • Proven track record of high approval rates and minimal file rework.
Work Setup
  • Fully Remote (Philippines-based).
  • Australian business hours: Day-shift - AEST.
