Job Description:
We’re seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead high-impact PMO efforts within our Defense & Biometrics Portfolio, based at the client’s Rosslyn, Virginia office. If you thrive in complex, cross-functional environments and excel at turning strategy into execution, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build structure for the portfolio, including standards, workflows and reporting
- Supervise, mentor and develop a technical team, Help Desk, customer experience and special projects staff
- Lead major program from kickoff through closeout
- Own scope, schedule, budget, compliance and customer satisfaction
- Capture requirements and maintain documentation in Jira, Confluence, SharePoint and support the implementation of new tools
- Drive consistent planning, risk management and financial tracking
- Partner across engineering, operations, finance, growth and product teams
- Lead process improvements and streamline cross-team coordination
- Support proposal and growth opportunity capture

What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelors degree and 15+ years managing complex federal programs
- Experience supporting DoS or federal law enforcement customers
- Experience supervising or leading programs, technical teams and customer support managers
- Strong working knowledge of SharePoint, Jira, Confluence and MS Project
- Proven ability to lead without direct authority and coordinate across functions
- Ability to work onsite in Rosslyn, VA
- Travel to team site in Summit Point, WV, as needed
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a clearance
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 10%)
What Desired Skills You'll Bring
- Prior DoS experience
- PMP certification
- Advanced degree (MBA or similar)
- Biometrics or system integration background
- Experience managing large government contracts
- Active Secret clearance
