Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking an experienced Firewall Administrator – Team Lead to oversee and guide a technical team in supporting firewall and network security operations. The role involves managing resources, coordinating project activities, and ensuring timely, accurate reporting and performance outcomes in alignment with government requirements.
Requirements
- Five (5) years of relevant experience in network security and firewall administration.
- Proficient knowledge of firewall technologies, network security configurations, and related hardware/software.
- Understanding of Information Assurance (IA) best practices and DoD/DLA security standards, regulations, and policies.
- Strong understanding of LAN/WAN operations.
- Experience with incident ticketing and workflow management systems.
- Ability to perform installation, configuration, and ongoing sustainment of firewalls and network appliances.
