Position Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions that support critical business processes across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. This role is focused on senior-level hands-on execution, requiring deep technical expertise in Apex, Lightning, and Salesforce platform capabilities. The ideal candidate is a strong individual contributor who can independently deliver complex solutions, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality, production-ready implementations using modern DevOps practices.

Position Responsibilities:

Salesforce Development & Execution

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, Visualforce, and declarative tools
  • Build and enhance functionality within Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, including:

◦ Lead, Account, Contact, Opportunity, and Case management ◦ Service Console, Omni-Channel, and CTI integrations ◦ Automation using Flows, Triggers, and Platform Events

  • Own end-to-end delivery of Salesforce development work, from requirements through deployment and support
  • Ensure solutions align with Salesforce best practices for performance, scalability, maintainability, and security
  • Perform thorough code reviews and proactively address technical debt

DevOps & Release Management

  • Develop and maintain Salesforce DevOps processes, including:

◦ Source-driven development using Git ◦ CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments ◦ Sandbox and environment management (sandboxes, scratch orgs)

  • Work with DevOps tools such as Salesforce DX, Git, Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
  • Support release planning, deployment execution, and post-release validation

Integration & Data Management

  • Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware tools
  • Build and support eCommerce integrations (e.g., order, customer, product, and fulfillment data synchronization)
  • Support data migrations and ongoing data operations using Data Loader, ETL tools, and custom Apex
  • Ensure data integrity, system reliability, and secure integration patterns

Collaboration & Support

  • Partner with product owners, business analysts, administrators, and QA teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions
  • Provide guidance to junior developers through code reviews and technical feedback
  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex Salesforce development, deployment and production issues

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Apex, SOQL/SOSL, and Lightning Web Components
  • Strong experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
  • Proven experience integrating Salesforce with eCommerce platforms and external systems
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce security and sharing model (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules)
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce DX and source-based development
  • Experience with object-oriented programming, design patterns, and performance optimization
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce governor limits and platform constraints
  • Experience with Agentforce and Data 360
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Order Management
  • Exposure to Einstein features or Salesforce AI capabilities
  • Experience in large-scale, multi-org, or enterprise Salesforce environments
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies

Certifications

  • Salesforce Platform Developer II
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant and/or Service Cloud Consultant
  • Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect
