About the Role
We’re hiring an experienced Project Planner/Scheduler to build, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules across engineering and operations. You’ll be the scheduling “source of truth,” partnering with PMs and functional leads to drive on‑time delivery and clear visibility to milestones, risks, and resources.
What You’ll Do
- Develop, baseline, and maintain detailed project schedules in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project (multi‑project, multi‑discipline).
- Create and manage WBS, activity sequencing, calendars, logic ties, and resource/cost loading.
- Run critical path and schedule health analyses; surface schedule variance, float consumption, and impacts to key milestones.
- Produce recurring schedule reports and dashboards (status, look‑ahead, milestone tracking); facilitate schedule reviews and “what‑if” scenarios.
- Monitor progress updates from workstream owners; ensure change control and baseline integrity.
- Identify schedule risks and constraints; recommend recovery plans and optimization opportunities.
- Align schedules with project execution plans, procurement lead times, and engineering deliverables; ensure cross‑functional integration.
- Support earned value and performance metrics (e.g., SPI/CPI inputs from schedule) in partnership with Project Controls.
- Uphold company and client scheduling standards, coding structures, and documentation practices.
Requirement:
- Hands‑on proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project (advanced user).
- 3–7+ years in project planning/scheduling within engineering, construction, manufacturing, or similar complex project environments.
- Strong command of CPM methods, resource/cost loading, progress measurement, and schedule risk concepts.
- Ability to translate technical inputs into clear timelines and executive‑ready insights.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills; comfortable leading schedule reviews with diverse stakeholders.
- High proficiency in Excel; exposure to Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plus.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- PMI‑SP, PMP, or comparable certification preferred.
