The Regional Account Executive – Convenience / Alt Channel is responsible for delivering the revenue and distribution objectives for the Convenience Business. This individual must be a doer, motivated, inspired, organized, creative, willing to roll up his/her sleeves with a strong work ethic. Responsibility is for all NAV C-Store Brands(Perfect bar, Tate’s Bake Shop, and HU Kitchen)
Essential Duties:
Total sales and P+L responsibility for Key Distributors and Retailers
Drive new product/category distribution initiatives.
Direct distributors, brokers, internal resources to accomplish sales and distribution objectives.
Manage assigned account budgets in proportion to sales revenue. A tight manager of trade spending.
Delivers distribution, shelf management, pricing, and promotional objectives for assigned accounts and Distributors.
Monitors and maintains all expenditures to stay in line with sales revenues.
Identify new business opportunities. Has a hunter mentality.
Responsible for planning a monthly calendar which includes extensive travel such as, retailer appointments, broker meetings, distributor meetings, provides guidance to Field Merchandisers, attend trade shows, regional shows, corporate office visits, working the market during a visit. Work schedule is expected to be planned out on Microsoft Office’s calendar two week in advance.
Accepts responsibility for the organizational goals by taking ownership of new and different duties and identifying new opportunities within the Sales department.
Takes ownership for all associated executional performance for Perfect Snacks, Tate’s Bake Shop and HU Kitchen brands in the Convenience Class of Trade
Manage NE/MW/SE C-Store/AFH Broker Business
Re-Distributor Management:
Manage Regional Distributor business as the Account Manager with a Go-To-Market strategy with key C-Store Retailers
This involved Headquarter presentations to their respective buyers
Trade Fund Management
Account Plans laid out by customer for year
Involved setting up planning for the year, void closures, retail pricing
Work with Distributor sales teams to secure distribution at retail (HLA)
Broker Management
Manage Convenience Channel Broker Business
Geography includes: broker overlays for NE, MW, and SE
Key Retailers: Rutter, Royal Farms, Nouria, Global Energy, EG Group, Red Apple, Mirabato, Wawa, Getgo, Bolla, Atlantis, Tripi Foods, Byrne Dairy, Coen Oil, Kwik Trip, Casey’s, Circle K MW, FL, MA, and GL, Tri-Star, Race-trac, Enmarket
Key Wholesalers: HT Hackney, Southco, MR Williams, NCD, Tripi Foods, Holiday Wholesale, Core-Mark, McLane, S Abraham
Assemble Quarterly Business Reviews
Provide guidance to brokers for sell in of distribution/establish annual promotional place
Oversee C-Store budget
Present business proposals for new distribution
Provide Broker with all necessary Perfect information to run our broker partners
Motivate and track brokers success
Administrative Duties:
Responsible for Vividly Management of Dora’s Distributors and C-Store retailers via a promotional plan
Setup an annual promotional calendar established for each retail customer to include Dora’s, and all retail accounts which will be coordinated with the Vividly Trade Planning tool.
Creates one pagers for the sales teams by channel
Product images with UPC’s and order
Promotional allowance
Trade Calendar timing
Analysis of the Dora’s/Market Data on largest opportunities as well as a plan to fill those voids.
Represent the company at national and regional/distributor trade shows/events to promote product sales.
Attend and coordinate trade shows with customers and brokers
Working Condition:
Frequent air and ground travel – up to 75% travel during peak months.
Skills / Qualification / Education:
3+ years as a RSFM or RSM in the food/beverage industry
Bachelor's Degree
Experience working with multiple retail environments preferred
Excel and PowerPoint Skills; must be competent in managing large data sets
Experience in sales planning and forecasting
Creative thinker with the ability to tell a story with data
Develop and manage scope, timeline, work plan and deliverables for projects; manage incoming project requests and maintain project queue
Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced, high demand environment
Self-sufficient and highly detailed oriented
Able to be creative and pioneer new distribution
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interface at all levels
Spirits organization, accounts, and distributor network
Strong presentation skills
Ability to be entrepreneurial and methodical
Results-oriented and process driven, with high expectations of self and team:
Collaborative mindset with strength in effectively receiving and communicating feedback
Includes promotional calendar
Administrative Duties:
Responsible for Vividly Management for all brands in the geography and retailers and wholesalers via a promotional plan
Must have a promotional calendar established for each retail customers
Requires keeping all distribution grids, account recap forms(calendars), and teamup calendars, McLane Lab Wufoo recommendations(prior to up lab reviews) updated.
Priorities are to see major customers during their review periods
Represent the company at national and regional/distributor trade shows/events to promote product sales.

The base salary range for this position is $106,300 to $146,200; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
