As Marqeta's Demand Generation Manager, you’ll join our dynamic go-to-market team and craft innovative strategies that drive growth at every stage of our prospect journey. Working closely with sales leaders and creative marketing experts, you’ll guide the campaign, channel, and automation strategies that maximize short- and long-term pipeline impact.

The ideal candidate has an analytical mindset with a passion for testing, optimizing and sharing insights. Within the first month, you’ll gain a deep understanding of our product, our buyers, and audiences at each stage of their journey, so you can own the strategy and performance of your channels and sales segments.

We work Flexible First. This role can be performed remotely anywhere within the United States or from our office in Oakland, CA. We’d love for you to join us!

The Impact You'll Have

  • Plan, execute, evaluate, and optimize demand generation and campaign initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external team members to run and optimize earned and paid channel programs
  • Guide the strategy for channel and prospect journeys, with a focus on specific sales segments and programs influencing early prospect journey stages, such as live and digital events, paid advertising, media partnerships, and social media.
  • Partner with sales leaders to maximize the pipeline impact of our marketing channels.
  • Own and steward prospect data - guide marketing decisions to maximize pipeline generation for our ambitious sales team.
  • Constantly test, iterate, and share performance insights.

Who You Are

  • 8+ years’ experience in B2B performance marketing, demand generation, or growth marketing role
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Marketo or a similar automation platform
  • Hands-on experience with paid social and ad platforms
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret marketing data, share performance results, and influence action across a large team

Compensation and Benefits

Marqeta is a Flex First company which allows you to choose your best working environment, whether that be from home or at a company office. To support Flex First, we calibrate pay to a competitive value according to working location. Compensation is aligned according to three tiers within the United States:

  • National: A baseline tier that applies to most of the geographic territory of the United States.
  • Premium: Slightly elevated from the National tier, and oriented toward a narrower set of higher cost-of-living areas, such as Los Angeles CA and Seattle WA
  • Premium Plus: A tier for the most expensive working areas, like the San Francisco Bay area and New York City.

When determining salaries, we consider several factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior experience, and work location. The new-hire base salary range for this position is:

  • National: $129,700 - $162,100
  • Premium: $140,300 - $175,400
  • Premium Plus: $152,600 - $190,700
