Position Summary Under the leadership and oversight of the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of payroll processing. With general oversight, this individual is accountable for ensuring that all processes and procedures are followed and to be the initial escalation point for any questions or issues arising from the responsibilities of the department. Provide daily tactical management of payroll processing activities, including but not limited to: exempt and non-exempt payroll, taxes, garnishments, reporting, and responding to internal and external customer inquiries. Recommends process evaluation and re-design to ensure the most efficient processing of payroll. The Payroll Administrator will be expected to track problems, their causes, and resolutions, and develop changes in the process to eliminate them. The Payroll Administrator will participate in regular management meetings. Regular reports may be required by the Human Resources, or Finance teams. Location: Remote- US based- Located in PST time zone Primary Responsibilities

  • Weekly US payroll processing
  • Garnishment processing
  • Leave of absence payments and tracking
  • Manage various projects as needed
  • Manage emails and tickets quickly and accurately
  • Bonus processing
  • Maintain payroll processing files and incoming payment requests
  • Process final checks timely in alignment with federal and state requirements
  • Manage reporting and data collection as required
  • Process severance payments
  • Work with various departments as needed to complete assigned payroll tasks

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.A. in Business, Preferred MBA or equivalent
  • Proficient with MS Office applications
  • Able to solve problems creatively
  • Able to start and finish a project based on provided parameters
  • Professional in all written and verbal communication
  • Able to get along with fellow employees at all levels
  • Able to work closely with executives
  • Very sharp and can perform tasks on their own
  • Able to effectively navigate through and overcome objections
  • Able to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Articulate, able to lead meetings
  • Able to seek/find answers on their own
  • Able to learn the company business and systems quickly
  • Flexible work hours based on the needs of the business

Compensation: Salary range is $65,000-$75,000 USD annually. Salary rates are based on experience, skills, and geographical location
