About the position

Location: Remote / Work From Home
Salary: USD $1,000 per month + monthly performance bonus

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Assistant to support our sales and client development activities. This is a fully remote position focused on email outreach, client research (external and internal using our CRM), and supporting the Sales team in generating new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate is commercially minded, highly organised, comfortable using AI tools, and has exceptional written English skills.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Outreach

• Develop and manage email outreach campaigns to generate new business opportunities
• Build and maintain targeted contact lists using LinkedIn, company websites, databases, and research tools
• Write and improve outreach email templates with the objective of arranging meetings and calls for the Sales team
• Research prospective clients and identify potential opportunities for corporate language training services

Client Research & Market Intelligence

• Research existing clients and their competitors to identify developments relevant to language training needs, including:
  • International expansion activities
  • Opening offices in non-English speaking countries
  • International recruitment activity
  • Growth into new overseas markets
• Prepare concise reports and insights for management and the Sales team

Presentation & Administrative Support

• Assist in the creation of PDF and PowerPoint presentations for clients and internal use
• Support the preparation of business proposals and client-facing materials

CRM & Compliance Monitoring

• Use the Corporate Report within our CRM system to review staff adherence to company policies and procedures
• Identify discrepancies or compliance issues and report findings to management

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

• Excellent English skills:
  • C2 level written English
  • C1 level spoken English
• Experience or strong familiarity with LinkedIn, including maintaining a professional LinkedIn profile
• Comfortable using AI tools (such as ChatGPT or similar platforms) to improve productivity and research
• Strong online research and analytical skills
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Professional communication skills and a proactive attitude

Preferred

• Experience in business development, lead generation, recruitment research, sales support, or B2B outreach
• Experience using CRM systems
• Familiarity with email outreach tools and campaign management
• Experience creating professional presentations in PowerPoint or PDF format
