This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the growth trajectory of high-impact products used by millions of users worldwide. As a key member of the Growth Engineering team, you will design and implement scalable systems that drive user acquisition, retention, monetization, and international expansion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, AI, and Data, to translate growth hypotheses into measurable, high-impact features. This position allows you to lead technical strategy, influence product roadmaps, and mentor engineers in a fast-paced, experiment-driven environment. The role emphasizes innovation, data-driven decision-making, and delivering results that directly affect business outcomes. You will enjoy autonomy while collaborating with talented professionals to accelerate user and business growth.

Accountabilities

  • Architect and evolve scalable systems to support growth initiatives, from onboarding and retention to monetization and lifecycle engagement.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, AI, and Marketing teams to implement growth experiments and data-driven features.
  • Design and maintain global payment infrastructure, subscription systems, and marketplace integrations to enable seamless, compliant transactions.
  • Build AI-driven user journeys and contextual assistants to optimize engagement, cross-sell, and retention.
  • Develop event-driven systems for churn prediction, habit formation, and user reactivation using analytics and marketing signals.
  • Engineer internationalization features, including localization, regional pricing, affiliate tracking, and lifecycle marketing systems.
  • Lead technical ownership of shared platforms such as authentication, compliance automation, and customer success systems.
  • Mentor engineers, lead architectural reviews, and uphold standards for reliability, performance, and developer productivity.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on software development experience, building and scaling distributed systems and complex web applications.
  • Deep understanding of growth funnels, experimentation frameworks, and optimizing user journeys.
  • 5+ years working with JavaScript-based stacks, including React, Node.js, and TypeScript, and familiarity with modern web performance and deployment patterns.
  • 3+ years of architectural leadership, designing modular, event-driven, and service-oriented systems.
  • Proficient with growth analytics, experimentation data, and data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Amplitude, Snowflake).
  • Experience with global payment systems, subscriptions, or credit-based monetization flows.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered features, including LLM integration for engagement and retention.
  • Strong expertise with cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS), containerization, observability, caching, and database technologies.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with Product, Design, Data, and Marketing teams.
  • Passion for experimentation, modern engineering practices, and building systems that drive measurable growth.
