As a Staff Enterprise Architect, you will guide organizations in designing and implementing scalable, enterprise-grade systems, helping them modernize legacy applications while leveraging next-generation technologies. You will work closely with clients to provide expert technical guidance, ensuring solutions are aligned with business goals and infrastructure requirements. This role requires both deep technical expertise and strategic thinking, influencing architecture decisions and best practices. You will lead workshops, design sessions, and migrations, creating reusable artifacts that drive value across multiple projects. Operating on the West Coast, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions while maintaining flexibility and autonomy. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in complex, dynamic environments and enjoys mentoring and shaping technical strategies.
Accountabilities:
- Provide expert technical guidance to clients during planning, design, testing, migration, and implementation of enterprise applications.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Lead architecture and design workshops, migration analysis, and hands-on technical sessions.
- Develop reusable artifacts, best practices, and documentation to support internal teams and client engagements.
- Partner with sales and customer success teams to drive adoption of enterprise solutions and identify new business opportunities.
- Mentor team members, share technical knowledge, and foster collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant experience in enterprise architecture, software engineering, or technical consulting.
- Deep understanding of relational databases (SQL), distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containers, orchestration tools, and enterprise software architecture.
- Proven experience designing cloud-based deployments and integrating complex technology stacks.
- Proficiency in software development using languages such as Go, C, C++, Python, Java, and shell scripting (Bash).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills for large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience creating and presenting technical content to external audiences.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
- Technical degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
