Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality backend services and APIs in Java to support trading and investment workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering partners, product, and design teams to identify requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Integrate and maintain multiple data sources, ensuring data accuracy and performance.
• Mentor and guide a high-performing team of engineers, fostering growth, inclusivity, and best practices.
• Contribute to the overall software architecture, focusing on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Implement and enhance automated processes to optimize software delivery and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience with expert-level proficiency in backend development, particularly Java.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or equivalent), databases, SQL/NoSQL, OLAP, and/or data lake architectures.
• Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot and RESTful API development.
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and ownership mentality.
• Comfortable working in a cloud context with automated infrastructure and service-oriented architecture.
• Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies and iterative development processes.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
