In this role, you will help shape the future of IoT-enabled operations by building and enhancing connectivity solutions that power critical systems across industries. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware, backend, and frontend engineers to deliver features that keep millions of devices securely connected. Your work will directly impact fleet management, industrial operations, and telematics platforms, ensuring reliability, scalability, and seamless user experiences. This role combines full-stack software development with hands-on problem-solving, enabling you to contribute to real-world, high-impact solutions in a fast-paced and innovative environment. You will have the opportunity to learn across multiple technologies while directly influencing customer outcomes and operational efficiency.
Accountabilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end software solutions across firmware, backend, and frontend domains for connected devices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define, implement, and deliver customer-facing features.
- Participate in on-call rotations and support incident investigations within the team’s ownership domain.
- Build scalable, reliable, and secure systems to support millions of IoT devices and mission-critical operations globally.
- Analyze, optimize, and troubleshoot connectivity and integration challenges across devices and cloud platforms.
- Apply metrics and feedback from customers to iterate on and improve product features.
- Champion engineering best practices and contribute to a collaborative, growth-oriented team culture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a track record of developing real-world, customer-facing products.
- Strong programming and coding skills in modern languages such as Golang, Python, Swift, Kotlin, or React Native.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining production systems with end-to-end ownership.
- Ability to estimate, communicate, and deliver on project milestones collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with skills in data analysis and SQL is a plus.
- Experience in IoT, telematics, or condition monitoring solutions is preferred.
- Demonstrated curiosity about customer needs and ability to iterate based on feedback.
- Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning.
Preferred Skills:
- Mobile development experience.
- Exposure to full-stack development across Go, GraphQL, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and React Native.
- Understanding of fleet operations, vehicle telematics, or connected operations platforms.
