This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer in the United States.
In this role, you will help design, build, and manage the cloud infrastructure and developer tools that support a global online learning platform driving digital transformation across industries. You will play a key role in automating systems, ensuring scalability and reliability, and improving development workflows for engineering teams. This position is ideal for someone passionate about DevOps culture, infrastructure as code, and distributed systems. You’ll work in a highly collaborative, remote-first environment, supporting innovation and continuous improvement across multiple services and technologies.
Accountabilities
- Design, implement, and support the production platform, ensuring reliability and performance across distributed environments.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure using AWS, Cloudflare, and Kubernetes.
- Automate configuration, deployment, and monitoring processes using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or AWS CloudFormation.
- Provide guidance and technical support to developers building new, high-availability applications.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to maintain uptime and security.
- Drive innovation by researching and incorporating new tools and practices in the DevOps and platform engineering ecosystem.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure security, scalability, and best practices in production systems.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices across the organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience supporting production environments.
- Strong expertise in AWS, Cloudflare, and Kubernetes operations.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Python, or Ruby.
- Hands-on experience with microservices, Linux, and Docker technologies.
- Deep understanding of infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, networking, and security best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues with patience and analytical precision.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, proactive mindset.
- Continuous learner eager to adopt new tools, techniques, and cloud innovations.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
