This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Presales Solutions Architect - Security (MS Purview) in India.
As a Presales Solutions Architect, you will be a key technical leader, designing and delivering security solutions that meet the complex needs of enterprise clients. You will collaborate closely with sales teams, partners, and senior engineers to shape strategy, provide expert guidance, and create proposals that drive business growth. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with consultative pre-sales responsibilities, including architecture design, solution integration, and customer presentations. You will influence security strategy across multiple accounts while mentoring junior team members and maintaining deep knowledge of evolving security technologies. The role requires a mix of strategic thinking, technical acumen, and strong communication skills in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Accountabilities
- Serve as a thought leader in security, designing, architecting, and consulting on complex solutions.
- Support sales teams with technical expertise, solution design, and proposal development tailored to customer needs.
- Collaborate with other security engineers, practice leaders, and partners to develop account strategies and drive pre-sales campaigns.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, bills of materials, and pricing/configuration details accurately and efficiently.
- Evaluate and integrate solutions across multiple vendors, including cloud and on-premise environments.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Present the technical value and business justification of security solutions to customers and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of technical experience with security controls, including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, NTA, NDR, NGAV, EDR, SIEM, DLP, Vulnerability Scanning, and Penetration Testing.
- 5–8 years of consulting experience, including pre-sales and solution development for enterprise clients.
- Expertise in architecture design and integration across multiple vendors.
- Familiarity with Public Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Ability to quickly grasp new technologies, evaluate their applicability, and train others.
- Strong problem-solving skills, technical aptitude, and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as presentation skills.
- Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISA, or vendor-specific certifications such as Palo Alto Cortex, Cisco XDR, Microsoft Security, Zscaler, CrowdStrike, Wiz.
