In this role, you will lead cutting-edge cybersecurity initiatives focused on securing Internet of Things (IoT) environments across diverse industries. You’ll work on complex projects that blend hardware, network, and application security to identify vulnerabilities and design resilient IoT architectures. Accountabilities:
- Conduct in-depth security assessments of IoT devices, systems, and environments, identifying vulnerabilities and designing effective mitigation strategies.
- Develop comprehensive deliverables detailing technical execution, core deficiencies, business impact, and practical remediation guidance.
- Provide expert consulting and support to clients, ensuring security recommendations align with their operational and business goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance IoT service offerings and improve methodologies based on emerging threats and technologies.
- Perform offensive security testing focused on network, hardware, and application layers of IoT systems.
- Continuously expand knowledge of industrial cybersecurity, IoT architectures, and offensive testing techniques to stay ahead of evolving risks.
- Foster strong client relationships through clear communication, professionalism, and delivery excellence.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience performing IoT-related security services, including system development and assessment.
- 1–3 years of experience in offensive security, focusing on network, hardware, or application security.
- Solid understanding of IoT board design, hardware architecture, and related attack techniques.
- Hands-on experience with physical (UART, JTAG, SPI) and wireless (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, SDR) interface testing.
- Proficiency in firmware analysis, extraction, and IoT vulnerability exploitation.
- Strong technical writing skills for creating high-quality client-facing reports and documentation.
- Excellent communication and consulting abilities, capable of working directly with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Preferred: experience in a consulting environment, familiarity with advanced IoT attacks (side-channel, glitching), and cloud-based IoT infrastructures.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time as needed.
